Keyboardist/Composer/Producer Gregg Karukas continues to "break through" to the top of the Contemporary Jazz field by putting more warmth and emotion into his playing. Now, the much anticipated release of his 6th CD YOU'LL KNOW IT'S ME demonstrates just why he is one of the best and busiest on the national New Adult Contemporary Jazz scene. YOU'LL KNOW IT'S ME delivers a fresh, upbeat palette of sound and groove - a continuation of the R & B / Jazz blend he has perfected over 4 albums . The title says it all - owing to the distinctive melodic style that has established Karukas as a favorite core Smooth Jazz artist.

About YOU'LL KNOW IT'S ME, Gregg says: "The inspiration for the title of my latest album....... this is so simple; everywhere I go people tell me that when they hear a song of mine on the radio, they can always tell it's me - that's the best compliment of all! My main goal in life is to write memorable melodies from the heart and keep pushing the groove envelope so that my music is distinctive . . . "

Gregg first broke on to the scene as the original keyboardist with the The Rippingtons, recording the classic MOONLIGHTING project with Kenny G., Dave Koz, and David Benoit. SUMMERHOUSE (1993), Karukas' fourth album, rose quickly to the #1 spot on the Gavin Adult Alternative chart (#3 R&R) and Gregg's stellar catalog still gets regular airplay in all the major radio markets. Lately, Gregg has been featured on festival tours around the world with musical cohorts Boney James, Eric Marienthal, Peter White, and Brazillian singer/guitarist Dori Caymmi. Dates are filling now for his own tour featuring singer/songwriter Shelby Flint.
